Buckley is Released

DETROIT, July 7.--Steamer Edward Buckley was released from the beach at Colchester, Ont., by the tug Leroy Brooks and Capt. F. J. Trotter of Amherstburg, Tuesday night, after lightering between 80,000 and 90,000 feet of her deck load of maple on the barge City of Dresden. The Buckley arrived at Amherstburg about 1 a.m. today and will unload the remainder of her deck load to go into dry dock at the Ecorse yard of the Great Lakes Engineering works. She has a leak almost under her boiler room, due it is said, to hitting an obstruction near Bar Point Monday.
