p.2 Steamboat Notice - Royal Mail Line - The Public are informed that parties visiting the Grand Provincial Exhibition at Kingston, will be carried by the Steamers of this Line at Half Price, viz.: Full fare going and Return free. (State Rooms and Meals extra. Horses, Cattle, Stock, etc. will also be carried on the same terms. Return tickets good for three days after the close of the Fair, but not transferable.

Royal Mail Steam Boat Office, Kingston, Sept. 19th

Rideau Canal Route - Steamer Fire Fly will leave Kingston (next week) on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for Smith's Falls. Returning: will leave Smith's Falls Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at 6 o'clock a.m. Sam'l Anglin, Agent Sept. 19th

GRAND PROVINCIAL REGATTA

POSTPONEMENT

In consequence of the unavoidable absence of His Excellency the Governor-General, the Patron, the Regatta has been postponed until Wednesday the 24th instant.

The Course for the First and Second Class Yachts is as follows:

Starting from opposite the Queen's Wharf, thence round a buoy off George's Barn, on Long Island, keeping the buoy on the starboard hand; thence round a buoy off Nine Mile Point, keeping the buoy on the starboard hand; thence to Milton Island, in the river, round the island, between the Island and the north shore, keeping the Island on the starboard hand; thence back to the starting point.

Entries may be made up to Tuesday evening, at 10 o'clock, at L'Hoist's Restaurant.
