-Opening of Steamboat Navigation - steamers Cataract and Niagara to start about 20th; Bay State and Ontario about May 1st. [Ogdensburg Journal]

-For the Coasting Trade - schooner Indus loading wheat at Milwaukee for Montreal. [Chicago Press]

-Important to Mariners - wreck of prop. Lady of the Lake lies north east by north, 1 mile from Grand River (Fairport) Beam, and 1 mile from shore. [Cleveland Herald]

-Imports - 13,14; Exports - 13.
