p.2 The Ottawa Route - the steamer Louise has been altered and the defects in her steerage qualities, draft of water, etc. have been remedied.

p.3 the water is so low in Grenville canal that steamers and barges from Montreal have to come around by Kingston and up the Rideau canal.
