p.2 Marine - sch. Phoebe Catherine, ashore near Fitzgerald's Island, Lake Huron, was towed to Owen Sound by gunboat Prince Alfred; sch. Gold Hunter ashore at Cape Smith, near Lonely Island.

-break in Beauharnois Canal is delaying barges.

-Aground - prop. Shickluna on Snake Island Shoal; sch. Congress was lightered off Point Frederick shoal.

-Imports - 10.

p.3 A Long Voyage - sch. Charger took 4 weeks going from Oswego to Milwaukee.
