p.2 City Council - Report of Committee on Wharves and Harbors on the Wolfe Island Canal - there is a meeting of shareholders in canal company planned for Thursday; discuss getting Tete du Pont barracks for a railroad station; the M.T. Co. had made application to lease the waterfront only.

-Capt. Fairgrieve, of str. Corsican, is having a large propeller built at Hamilton.

p.3 sch. Garibaldi took 19 days to Kingston from Toledo.
