p.2 Laid Up - Corinthian and Spartan at north side of St. Lawrence wharf.

-Imports - 28,29.

p.3 The barque Arabia has been laid up in port. She was loading for Buffalo, but her sailors struck for $4 a day, but were euchred. The owners laid up the vessel rather than accede to the demand.

-A Disabled Vessel - Shickluna ashore near Presque Isle, towed to Kingston.

-Closed In - Rideau Canal is frozen.
