The schooner "Isabel," bound from Oswego to Toronto with a load of coal, sunk about eight miles off Sodus Point, on Tuesday last. The crew got off in a yawl and reached Sodus Point about 8 o’clock in the evening. The schooner was an old one , and so sudden did she go down that all the little valuables of the Captain and crew which were usually kept in the cabin went down with it. The old craft probably got sprung while loading her cargo, and was pretty full of water before any thing wrong was discovered.
