p.4 Canadian Items - The sunken hull of the propeller Ottawa has been removed from Picton harbour, and it is expected that Mr. Daly will return and complete his dredging contract.
On Monday morning, off Point Pelee, the schooner Jessie Drummond, of Montreal, and Helvetia, collided. The Jessie was badly damaged, losing her jibboom and bowsprit. She was towed to the dock at Amherstburg by the tug Brockway, where she now lies leaking badly. She has 20,000 bushels of corn for Port Colborne.
