p.3 A Quick Trip - The schooner B.W. Folger last week made a very quick trip to Oswego and back. She left on Friday night with a load of lumber, and arrived in harbour here on Saturday evening with a load of coal. The wind was fair both ways.

The Murray Canal - The Picton Gazette is not altogether satisfied that the Murray Canal, concerning which the Belleville papers are getting excited, would prove so great a boon to navigators as a great many people who talk learnedly of its advantages, appear to imagine.

Short Notes - The schooner Edward Blake and steambarge Saxon have been hauled out at Mill Point for repairs.
