p.4 Floating Facts - The schr. Bessie Burwick is at Garden Island with timber.
-The schooner White Oak cleared for Oswego today to load coal for the gas house.
-The steamer St. Lawrence left last evening about nine o'clock to resume her regular trips.
-The schr. Julia has arrived at Garden Island from Oswego with coal for Rathbun Company's yard.
-The schr. Jura is unloading 500 tons of coal at the penitentiary for R. Crawford. She came from Cleveland.
-Captain Saunders, of the schooner Oliver Mowat, has stopped the schooner and will let her lie idle until freights increase.
-The schr. Sligo arrived last evening at the K. & M. Forwarding Company from Port Arthur with a cargo of 19,000 bushels of wheat.
-The schr. Parthenon, from Brighton, discharged a cargo of 2,600 bushels of peas and wheat at the M.T. Company yesterday.
-The prop. Canada lightened 7,000 bushels of wheat at the M.T. Company and proceeded to Montreal. She came from Chicago.
-The steambarge Niagara, steambarge Bruno, barge Laura, and barge Emerald, are at the K. & M. Forwarding Company with deals from Manistee. They are having their cargoes transferred to pin-plats which will take them to Montreal.
