p.4 Floating Facts - The schr. Jessie Scarth cleared for Thorold yesterday with lumber.

-The schr. Clara White has gone to Oswego to load coal for Crawford.

-The schr. B.W. Folger cleared today for Oswego with a cargo of lumber.

-The schr. Hartford has arrived at the M.T. company with 22,350 bushels of grain from Chicago.

-The barges Princess, Syren and Lark arrived light at the K. & M. company today from Montreal.

-The steamer Ontario brought about three hundred people from Alexandria Bay and Clayton today.

-The schr. Annandale is discharging 400 tons of coal at the prison wharf, consigned to Capt. Crawford from Oswego.

-The sloop Moravia discharged a cargo of phosphate at Richardson's today. She came from the Ottawa River.

-The steambarge Lincoln and Consort passed down the river this morning with a load of deals. They are bound for Quebec.

-The steamer Khartoum ran on the Cape route yesterday afternoon, the Maud having run an excursion down the river from the Cape.

-The tug Mixer with barges 33, 34 and 37 and sloops Jessie and Sydney, from Trenton, arrived at Gilmour's yard yesterday. They were laden with wood.

Swift's: Steamers Passport, Toronto; prop. California, Chicago; prop. Dominion, Montreal; steamer Corsican, Montreal, and steam yacht Sportsman.

-The prop. California had 115 passengers on board this morning when she called at Swift's on her way to Montreal from Chicago.

-Capt. John Shughue took the steamyacht Sportsman, having on board a party of Ottawa gentlemen down the river this afternoon. He will take the craft to Ottawa.
