p.2 An Act to repeal the Laws now in force relative to the Preservation of Salmon, and to make further provisions respecting the Fisheries... passed on 19th March, 1823.

p.3 Melancholy Accident - Amos Fisher, of this place, having a few days since, sailed on board a Schooner from this port bound for Genessee, was by some accident thrown overboard near Gravelly Point, and unfortunately drowned. He was a native of England, and has left a widow and several children to lament his loss.
