p.3 man falls from deck of sloop owned by Levens and Scrow, about 1 1/2 miles from Hallowell and was drowned. [U.C. Herald]

meeting held at Cornwall about the recent decision by Commissioners of Boundary Line dispute, to set boundary at Long Sault and on north side of Barnhart's Island; it would take in all of navigable channel.
