p.2 St. Lawrence Association - think that a tow-boat, with assistance of iron chains, to be the best method of surpassing rapids; gives estimates for building 3 tow-boats and other necessary equipment. [Mercury]

p.3 Steam Boat Frontenac - A meeting of the Proprietors of the Steam Boat Frontenac is requested on Monday next, at Noon, at Walker's Hotel.
