p.3 List of Acts Passed 1st Session 9th Provincial Parliament - #5 - Welland Canal Bill - assented to on 13th April.

FOUND - On board the subscriber's Boat at Massasauga Point, a Buffalo Skin, and a Bear Skin. The owner is desired to prove the property, pay the expenses, and take them away. Alexander Tremere, Grave Street.

Kingston, April 21, 1825.

Rice Lake Steam Boat Company - 2 meetings held at Cobourg, will build a steamboat, £1000 to be raised at £5 per share, no subscriber to own more than 20 shares, engine to be 8 horse power. Walter Boswell, Mr. Throop, Mr. Campbell, Mr. Perry, Mr. J. Boswell, Mr. Bethune and Mr. Stewart are members of Committee. (1/2 column)
