p.3 Welland Canal Loan Bill - House discusses loaning £25,000 to the President, Directors and Company of the Welland Canal.

The Weather - ...The ice has taken on the bay and river in front of the town...

Another Casualty - boat upsets midway between M'Guires Wharf and Point Frederick, 4 drown. [U.C. Herald]
