p.3 Adjourned General Sessions, held at Court House in Kingston, Midland District, on 5th December, 1831: amendments to Police Laws - #44 - in amendment of the 32nd Police Regulation, it is ordered that decked vessels, arriving in the harbour laden with white fish, herring or other fresh fish shall be allowed to lie at McGuire's wharf in Store Street for the purpose of vending the same; provided the master of the vessel or owner of the fish shall previously to any sale thereof, notify his arrival to the Clerk of the Market, and pay him a fee of one shilling and three pence, for each day during which the said fish may be on sale on the said wharf.
