Description
Full Text

p.2 The act of incorporation of the "St. Lawrence Inland Assurance Company" will be found in our columns. This is the first chartered company of the kind in the Province - marine assurance having heretofore been effected through a private association - and by it property may be insured from Montreal to the farthest Lakes. We perceive that Messrs. Abraham Truax and Archibald M'Donell are appointed to receive subscriptions to the stock of the new Company in Kingston, for which purpose a stock book will open at the Commercial Bank until the first of May.
