p.2 Mr. Parker's steamboat Kingston was launched in beautiful style on Thursday morning. This fine vessel, (which was originally meant to be called "The Canadian," and which we noticed some weeks ago,) is intended to ply upon the Bay and River. She is of a very handsome model, and will be propelled by an engine of forty-five horse power building by Messrs. Ward & Co. May the prosperity of this boat be commensurate with that of the town whose name she bears, and sufficient to reward and encourage the enterprise of its inhabitants. [Kingston Chronicle]
