p.2 With reference to a writer in the Whig, Capt. Hunter, of the steam-boat Rideau, desires us to state that no deaths by Cholera have occurred on that boat this season, and that he removed the boat, the other day, from one of the wharves in this town, to prevent his crew from coming in contact with some sick of the Cholera, on the wharf.

p.3 The Stockholders of the Commodore Barrie Steam Boat are requested to pay the eighth instalment of 10 per cent on their Stock, to the Treasurer, on or before the 1st of October next. By order, Thomas Kirkpatrick, Secretary and Treasurer.

The Fast Sailing Steam Packet

Will, for the remainder of the season, leave the different Ports as follows:

UPWARDS

Kingston, every Saturday Morning at 8 o'clock.

Cobourg, Saturday Evening at 7

Port Hope Saturday Night

Toronto, for Niagara Sunday Morning at 7

DOWNWARDS

Niagara for Toronto every Monday at 2 P.M.

Toronto, Monday Evening at 8.

Port Hope Tuesday Morning at 4.

Cobourg Tuesday Morning at 5.

And arrive at Kingston in the afternoon.

Thus making two trips per week, from Kingston to Niagara. The St. George will await the arrival of Passengers who leave Montreal (via the St. Lawrence) on Monday and Thursday morning. They can proceed from Prescott to Kingston in the Britannia. The St. George boat also awaits the arrival at Kingston of the Rideau Canal boats.

Passengers leaving Niagara or Toronto in the St. George on Monday and Thursday, will arrive at Montreal on Wednesday and Saturday afternoon as there will always be a boat running in connection with her, between Kingston and Prescott.

THIS BEAUTIFUL VESSEL

Is propelled by a low pressure Engine of 90 Horse Power; is Schooner Rigged; and is elegantly fitted up for Cabin passengers.

No Luggage or Parcels taken charge of, unless booked and paid for. All freight payable on delivery.

The New and Elegant

Steam Boat

RAPID,

Capt. Doty,

Propelled by two Low Pressure Engines of Thirty Horse Power Each.

Will leave Prescott on Monday and Thursday evenings, after the arrival of the Steam Boat from below; will touch at Brockville, French Creek, and arrive at Kingston next morning.

Will leave Kingston for the Head of the Bay on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9 o'clock, will touch at Bath, Fredericksburgh, Adolphustown, Hallowell, Culbertson's, Sophiasburgh, Belleville, River Trent, and arrive at the Carrying Place same evening.

Going Downwards

Will leave the Carrying Place about 4 o'clock, after the arrival of the Western Stages, on Wednesday and Saturday mornings; will touch at the above mentioned intermediate places, and arrive at Kingston same afternoons.

Will leave Kingston on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 7 o'clock, will touch at French Creek and Brockville, and arrive at Prescott the same night.

Good Stages leave the Carrying Place after the arrival of the Boat, for Cobourg, Port Hope, and City of Toronto making it a delightful route by water and land for those who wish to see this interesting country.

Every attention will be paid to the comfort of passengers, and the boat is well adapted to take freight, horses, cattle, etc.
