p.3 The sale of Steam Boats, Schooners, Durham Boats etc. belonging to the Estate of the late Robert Drummond, which is to take place next Thursday, is well worthy the attention of men of capital and enterprise. The vessels, we are informed, must be sold, in order to close the affairs of the Estate. We trust that enough of the friends of the deceased, and others, may be found to give liberal bids on the occasion. As there has been some idea entertained of running a steam boat to the Napanee River, we would suggest that the Rideau is well adapted for that line of communication.

- letters dealing with improvement to Ottawa River.
