I just by chance decided to see if there was anything on the internet on the "Rapids Prince" and was so excited to find this.
My parents and I took it from Toronto to Montreal and back in the early 40s (during the war) when my father was stationed in Ottawa with the U.S. War Production Board. We were up there there for about 3 years when I was about 8 years old. I remember going through the rapids and remembering how scared I was at the time. What a thrill!
What wonderful memories I have of Canada and the Rapids Prince and am so excited to actually see this on the internet. Thank you!!!
