      Empty Hull of Ferry.
Muskegon, Mich., Aug. 21.--Nearly 500 tons of iron, brass and lead will be taken from the hull of ANN ARBOR car ferry No. 1, which burned a year ago at Manitowoc and was later towed to this port. A Muskegon firm bought the brass, iron and lead. Alter she is stripped of her fittings, the big hull will likely be used as a part of a dry dock, or she may be rebuilt into a monster scow. Her mammoth steel beams are being cut in seven foot lengths by a special process.
