Ogdensburg (Steamboat), fire, 1878
Description
Full Text

The steamer OGDENSBURG, which was burned recently at Ogdensburg, cost about $17,000. There was an insurance of $7,000; $4,500 of it fire, and the balance Fire & Marine. About $5,100 can be realized on insurance it that much damage has been sustained. It is thought that from the best information that can be obtained that this will cover the cost, and that in the course of a few weeks she may be repaired and performing her regualr trips.
