The tug BERTHA ENDRES with a load of machinery from Sault Ste. Marie to Michepocten foundered off Point Iroquois Monday night. Her crew of five were drowned.

The tug BERTHA, laden with machinery from the Sault to Michipicoten, foundered Monday night off Point Iroquois and her crew of five men were all lost. Among the lost were sons of both Messrs Bell and Duncan, large owners in the Michipicoten mine. The crew lived in Canada.
