- Description
- The Richelieu and Ontario Navigation Company steamer ALGERIAN. In the background on the left iis a hotel. Two buildings with substantial chimnies are in the centre background. It may well be that ALGERIAN is in the Lachine canal in Montreal. Crew watch the camera from the forward gangway, in front of the pilot house and from the after gangway.
- Notes
- The ALGERIAN is still carrying the full sized paddlewheels that were replaced after the 1902 season. The succession of poles carrying wires suggests the 1890s.
