Alan featured not only many of the older ships then in existence, but also many of the early 730-footers. We thank A l for his efforts in putting together such an interesting show. As we extend to our members the very best wishes for Happiness in the New Year, we should like to say a special word of thanks to those members who are regular contributors of marine news for "Scanner". We won't mention your names here, for fear of leaving somebody off the list, but you know who you are and you should know how very much we appreciate your frequent correspondence, even if we cannot answer each and every letter you send. We hope that you will continue to keep those cards and letters coming our way during 1991. Perhaps some of our other members will join your ranks as stalwart reporters of the news. In the New Member Department, a hearty welcome goes out to Capt. Ralph Lacey, of Pickering, Ontario, and to Martin (Dick) Boufford, of Amherstburg, Ontario, and Alta Loma, California.
