Your P r o gramme C h a i r m a n and Editor acted as Quizmasters, posing il l u s t r a t e d q u estions on subjects as diverse as ship histories, engine sounds, riverside rocks and the colour of the c o alsmoke from various steamers. The winn i n g team was "The S h i p wrights", c o n s i s t i n g of David Bull, Bob Woodcock, Reg Breaker and Reta Morrison, who a n s wered 68 of the 80 q u e stions correctly, and deserve our cong ratulations. We look forward to another quiz in the future, w i t h m e m bers c o n t r i b u t i n g photos and questions. We extend thanks to all involved in the plann i n g of our Ma y Dinner, and p a r t i c u l a r l y to Bill Wi l s o n for selling tickets and m a k i n g the r e staurant arrangements, to Gordon Turner for a r ranging the programme, and to our speaker, Capt.
