Please refer to details below, and join us for an enjoyable evening. * * * * * * * THE EDITOR'S LOGBOOK The March Meeting was to feature a presentation by Capt. Ralph Tucker, but unfortunately illness prevented him from coming. David Bull and Roger Chapman rallied 'round, however, and put together a most interesting pro­ gramme which included a quiz and some old films and slides. We thank Roger and David for saving the day, and we look forward to seeing Capt. Tucker's presentation at a future meeting. The Annual Dinner Meeting will be held Saturday, May 6th, aboard JADRAN, which is moored on the east side of Toronto's Yonge Street slip. Parking is available in two lots just east of the ship, and there is easy access via T. T. C. (Bay bus or Spadina/Harbourfront streetcar south from Union Station to Queen's Quay). The cash bar will open at 6: 00 p. m. and a five- course dinner will be served at 7: 00. Our speaker will be member Clive Dudley from Thunder Bay, whose presentation will be entitled "Home, James! The Return and Restoration of the Tug JAMES WHALEN". Tickets will be $30. 00 (Canadian, yet! ) per person, which includes the meal and taxes and gratuities, and as usual, guests will be most welcome. Please send your early remittance to our Chief Purser and, when reserving, please specify whether you would prefer an ocean perch or steak entree.
