Our theme will be "Seaway Visitors - Anything But La kers", so bring up to fifteen slides to illustrate strange things that have come up the Seaway. Let your imagination run wild. Saturday, February 7 - 1: 45 p. m. at the Swansea Town Hall. We hope to have yet another instalment of Jim Kidd's slides, presented by Ron Beaupre. * * * * * * * THE EDITOR'S LOGBOOK Those present at the November Meeting were treated to a very special event. Ted Wickson showed images of the development of Toronto Harbour and the ships that have used it, the photos coming from the Toronto Port Authority (formerly the Toronto Harbour Commission) files. We saw some very rare pho tos and the members enjoyed participating by naming many of the ships seen in the views. Our thanks to Ted for preparing such an interesting show. In the February issue, we will present our annual Lay-Up List. This is just an early reminder that, once your local port has received its winter fleet, you should jot down all the names and send them to us. We'll need to hear from you by January 26th if we are to get the list ready in time. We are again asking whether any of the members have any marine artifacts with which they might care to part to support the next T. M. H. S. Silent Auction. We need more good items and would like to hear from you if you have something to donate. The Silent Auction is an important fund-raiser for the Society and deserves the support of the members.
