DOUGLASS HOUGHTON - freighter, now breakwater at Ontario Place. RAPIDS QUEEN - former passenger steamer, then barge, now breakwater at Queen City Yacht Club, Algonquin Island (close to Ward's Island ferry dock). HOWARD L. SHAW - freighter, now breakwater at Ontario Place. VICTORIOUS - freighter, now breakwater at Ontario Place; pilothouse and tex­ as near lake shore east of Cherry Street, south of Unwin Avenue. * * * The following commercial vessels are reported wintering at lake and river ports, listed as closely as possible by area, moving uplake. We include fer­ ries, tugs, dredges, etc., if they have been reported to us. The extended navigation season this year means that some ships are still operating, and for them we give anticipated lay-up ports, if known. Some ships come and go from lay-up during winter; our listings were current as of date of observa­ tion but may not remain so throughout the entire winter.
