Please see details below. * * * * * * * THE EDITOR'S LOGBOOK The February Meeting featured the Welland Canals Foundation video "Con­ quering Niagara" which was presented by David Bull. All present seemed to enjoy the video and its views of canals and ships. With this issue, we enclose the details of our next Silent Auction. Please note carefully the bidding information and be generous in your bids. There are some spectacular items in this auction, and we sincerely thank the donours. We also remind members of the back issue order form enclosed with the February issue. This may be your last chance to obtain some of these issues, as quantities are extremely limited. The Annual Dinner Meeting will be held Saturday, May 7, aboard JADRAN, which is moored on the east side of Toronto's Yonge Street slip. Parking is available in two lots just east of the ship, and there is easy access via T. T. C. (Bay Bus or Harbourfront-Spadina streetcar south from Union Station to Queen's Quay). The cash bar will open at 6: 00 p. m. and the four course dinner will be served at 7: 00. Speaker for the evening will be Buck Longhurst, of Gore Bay, who will pre­ sent an illustrated history of the shipping operations of Capt. Frank Manzzutti and the Yankcanuck Steamship Company.
