Watch for de tails in our Mid-Summer issue. * * * * * * * THE EDITOR'S LOGBOOK The April meeting featured photos of lake trips taken by Peter Jobe and Brad Jolliffe, one on a salty and one on a laker. The programme was enjoyed by all who attended and we thank our presenters for their efforts. This has been a difficult year indeed for your Editor, and he is very much looking forward to his annual vacation from the keyboard as his physical recovery progresses. We will be coming your way with the Mid-Summer issue in August and wish all members the best of shipwatching until then. We extend sincere thanks to all who donated or purchased in our recent Si lent Auction. Final figures are not in, but it appears that the auction netted the Society something in the area of $2, 000. Well done all! By the time you read this, the Annual Dinner Meeting will be history and those present will have enjoyed a memorable evening. We thank Gordon Shaw for his interesting programme on SEGWUN et al., and as usual we thank our Chief Purser, Bill Wilson, for making the arrangements with Captain John's restaurant, and also handling ticket sales. If you were not amongst the happy crowd at this year's dinner, won't you please plan to attend next year? * * * * * * * ISSN 0318-014X
