ACCIDENT TO THE PROPELLER EMPIRE STATE.-- The propeller Empire State, on her last trip up from Buffalo, became disabled by an accident to her machinery which resulted in the breaking of her cylinder head. The propeller Montgomery fortunately came to her assistance and towed her into Mackinaw, where she was taken in tow by a couple of tugs for Buffalo.
