St. Joseph's

26 May 1837

Dear Sir

I was very glad to see your vessel going up yesterday there is some hopes now, as [ ] is returning here immediately I should feel obliged if you would let me have a couple of barrels of flour & a little pork by his boat. I expect Peck will be up the course of a fortnight. The Spring is terribly late.
