Schooner FAIRFIELD, cargo black walnut, struck on a shoal near Clayton, River St. Lawrence.

      The schooner FAIRFIELD, from Toledo to Ogdensburg with a cargo of lumber, was driven ashore in the late gale near Clayton, St. Lawrence River, and is full of water.
