Steamer CLIFTON, ashore at Penetanguishene, Lake Huron.

Collingwood, C. W., Aug. 14. -- The steamer CLIFTON, with an excursion party on board, is reported ashore near Penetanguishene. No lives lost.
The steamer PLOUGHBOY, due since this day week, has not been heard from, and fears are entertained that she was wrecked in the gale of Tuesday.
