BRIG FRANCIS MILLS ASHORE. - A letter from Capt. Evans, dated Erie, Oct. 13, states that the FRANCIS MILLS was driven ashore in a gale of wind about 9 o'clock the previous evening, while trying to make the harbor of Erie. He thinks the vessel will be a total loss, as her back is broken and her decks are under water.
The MILLS cleared from this port on Monday, with 550 bbls flour, 129 kegs of butter, 2778 bushels oats, and 23 bbls meal, for Buffalo. - Cleveland Herald.
