MARGARETTA Scow, ashore at Chicago. Property loss $2,300.

The Chicago Press of Saturday says the schooner MARGARETTA was taken in hand Friday. Her deck-load being removed, a steam pump was placed on board and put in operation, but failed to remove the water faster than it moved in. The probability is that the hull is considerably damaged, which this fact would seem to indicate.
