Propeller Tug, J.H. LEE Capsized while towing at Milwaukee, April 1874. Loss $7,000.

The small tug IDA H. LEE while towing a schooner in the Bay at Milwaukee Monday, tripped on the line, capsized and sank instantly in 50 feet of water. She was not insured and can be recovered. One dead.

IDA H. LEE of 24 tons, built Buffalo 1863 by Hington. Owned by Starke Co. Home port, Milwaukee. No value nor class. REMARKS :- To be rebuilt.
