Chicago.---Sunday morning the schooner RAINBOW was towed into port in a disabled condition, and about the same time the Canadian propeller ALMA MUNRO came in with a badly disfigured bow. The RAINBOW left here a few hours before, and had not lost sight of the harbor lights when she was run into by the MUNRO, carrying away her headgear. The MUNRO got the worst of the encounter, for the upper part of her stem was twisted off, all of the stanchions and rail on her starboard bow were smashed, and a large section of the forward part of her passenger cabin was torn out. The passengers were badly frightened.
