The schooner MAY RICHARDS, Captain Place, when coming up the river soon after midnight Friday night, near the Illinois central Bridge, was collided with by the schooner JASON PARKER also going up the river in tow of a tug. The PARKER crossed the bows of the RICHARDS, twisted her stem badly and carried away her bowsprit and jibboom.
