Description
Full Text

Chicago.---The hull of the old schooner EL TEMPO which for several years has served as a bum boat, was destroyed by fire Sunday, a crowd of boys having kindled a fire in the hold.
Thirty years ago when the EL TEMPO was launched she was one of the finest vessels on the lakes, and it is said that she has brought a greater number of cargoes to Chicago than any vessel now afloat.
