Iowa (Propeller), collision, 6 Dec 1861

The schooner W.J. Whaling, while being towed down the Creek this morning, managed somehow, to run her jibboom in the upper works of the propeller IOWA, by which the latter vessel was damaged to the amount of about $250. The schooner sustained no injuries.
