The Chicago Post has the following list of accidents. - The steam-barge OWEN on her last trip sprang a leak when outside of Green Bay. She had ore from Escanaba, and had to return to Green Bay and take off 209 tons of ore, when she proceeded on her way to Chicago, where she arrived leaking, and will go into dock. The steamer PHILADELPHIA ran into the schooner J. G. MASTEN, near Eighteenth Street bridge, yesterday. The steamers bulwarks were broken in, but the schooner received no particular damage. The schooners LEWIS DAY and SOPHIA A. LUFF fouled yesterday, in the South Branch, and the DAY had her square sail yards and cross-trees carried away. A small schooner named
SILVER CREST foundered on Lake Huron, near the Sand Beach refuge, on Monday. Crew rescued. The schooner C. L. JOHNSON had her foresail damaged by a squall on Lake Michigan on Tuesday evening.
