The local inspector yesterday finished the taking of evidence
in the matter of the collision between the NIAGARA and the tug
F.A. CRANDALL. Their decision will be made in a day or 2. It is
understood that the inspectors are of the opinion that there have
been altogether too many collision recently in the harbor here.
