THE STEAM-BARGE 'SPARTA' BURNED.
Buffalo, Oct. 30. - The steam barge SPARTA, owned by the Cleveland Transportation Company, caught fire in the boiler-room while being unloaded at the Bennett Elevator last night, and was quite badly damaged. Not insured. Twelve thousand bushels of wheat were damaged. The cargo, consisting of 40,000 bushels, was shipped at Milwaukee. Insured.

      The SPARTA has arrived here and will repair her recent damage by fire at Buffalo. The loss will be light, not to exceed $1,000, and perhaps less.
