A dispatch to Capt. E.P. Dorr, dated Milwaukee, Sept. 29th, says: "The schr. YORK STATE went ashore here last night loaded with coal. Wind subsiding. Not very serious yet.
Messrs. Smith & Davis have telegraphic message that the schr. YORK STATE was driven ashore at the South Manitous but has been got off and was in tow of a tug en route to Milwaukee.
