Sarah E. Bryant (Tug), fire, 20 Oct 1875

Description
Full Text

The alarm from box No. 18 at 4:10 this morning was occasioned by the breaking out of fire on the large tug SARAH E. BRYANT, lying near the foot of Main St. The fire is supposed to have originated from the furnace, and it extended to the cabin and upper deck. The damage, however, is not very serious, and probably $500 at most will foot the bill of repairs. The loss is fully covered by insurance.
